Things of Capetown
While Dave has scoured the internet for photos not by or of us to feature in the blog, I have been finding things of interest to share.
First, a wise lizard: the southern rock agama who I have seen while out hiking and on top of Table Mountain. I clearly need a better photo as you can't see how his head glistens bright with aquamarine.
A crocodile lizard.
A pigeon who was very wet and uncomfortable about it. He was the only pigeon in the crowd found to be sopping wet.
A knobby tree - short and stout - that has a history of being used to sled down hills due its moist and buttery texture under the bark.
A close up of the tree. I saw no butter.
