No Post Yesterday
Beth was insistent that we maintain our social media momentum. "Our readers are waiting, and you, Dave, just want to take a nap. You need to post!" After I got up, the 4 of us headed downtown for dinner. After dinner there was even less chance...
And now this morning, instead of the beautiful photos and account of our trip yesterday to Cape Point, we're rushing to get ready for our day in the wine country. In store is another hike, a waterfall, a fabulous lunch followed by wine tasting. Of course we're not really rushing. We're sipping coffee, making breakfast, enjoying the beautiful morning.
So this post is for me to recognize and acknowledge my delinquency and to assure you that this blog has a future! We have ideas, content, photos, video, insight. But it will have to wait...
Here's proof we were there (thanks, Jo!). Like a ransom photo. We should have held up a copy of the local Afrikaans newspaper.
EL Commentary: I have been told not to send photos to all of you via our various chats and messaging platforms as Dave wants you to seek out the blog for information. Should this photo hostage-taking situation continue to be combined with no blog posts, I will break free from submitting to his request and reach you with photographs.
